Ekornes Collection

Ekornes Collection is our collection of comfortable fixed-back sofas with a wide range of possible combinations. Svane

Svane was the first trademark to be registered in the Norwegian furniture industry. There is a close connection between lying comfortably, and getting enough sleep. Today this connection is widely documented through science, but when Jens E. Ekornes made the first Svane mattresses in 1937, he had already come to the same conclusion. The Svane mattresses, which combined mattress springs and breathing capabilities, soon became a success. Many years have passed since 1937, and people trust in the Svane brand is as strong today as back then. This is a trust we earn every night.
